STORMI was rescued in Feb. 2018. After a rough start, he is doing really well and will soon be ready for adoption!
Stormi had an extremely rough start to his life and when he first arrived to Little Wanderers, we weren’t sure he was going to make it. Stormi had a severely de-gloved jaw and jaw fracture – in short, he had horrible facial injuries.
Stormi was immediately rushed to the Animal Medical Center in Manhattan for treatment for his injuries. Due to his treatment, he was unable to use his jaw and was fed through a feeding tube three times a day. He is now eating without a feeding tube and is currently healing. Although he is not yet ready for adoption, he is up for pre-adoption!
Despite his scary and traumatizing beginnings, he is extremely sweet and loving. We are thankful that we had the chance to save such a resilient and affectionate cat. We hope that you will fall in love with him, just like we did!
Stormi will need to go to a family that has experience with cats or to a family who is willing to learn a lot about cats. Although he will be fully healed by the time he heads to his FURever home, he will have routine check ups and he will have to be monitored.
We are so excited for Stormi to meet his FURever family or parent. He will be up to date on vaccinations, neutered, he is FIV/FeLV-, and microchipped.
