Remember Joyce? The LW Rescue Team found her in the Hunts Point section of the South Bronx, sitting on a piece of tinfoil under a tree. She was so filthy and matted that she needed a lion cut that took several hours. She had broken teeth and was infected with parasites. Turns out she had been dumped there at the tender age of 14, and although she was microchipped it was obvious she had been abandoned by her owner.
But Little Wanderers came to the rescue! Continue reading “Happy Endings: Joyce”

Meet Bella and Chloe, two sweet young kittens Little Wanderers rescued from a leukemia positive colony in the Bronx. Chloe is still a little shy but she has come a long way. She used to spend most of her time hiding but now she sleeps next to her foster in bed! She loves her sister Bella, who is the mischievous sister. Bella loves to instigate rounds of chasing games and sneaks some of her sisters food when she’s not looking. Bella also loves snuggles and belly rubs. They are completely bonded and love playing with their toys together and would be perfect for someone with a big heart who has always wanted a pair of beautiful kitty companions or a set of best friends for their dog (they get along really well with foster mom’s dog!)

This adorable little fella has been aptly named “The Mayor”. He is a stray feral cat that was known to the neighborhood and was always friendly with both two legged and four legged friends he saw each day. But living in a filthy open air parking garage is no place for a cat, so TM was rescued by Little Wanderers and now he is in search of a new constituency to rule over.
