Meet John Hunt! Little Wanderers rescued John Hunt from the brink of death in Hunts Point, South Bronx, where he once fell into a hot oil vat and nobody did a thing for him. He was so malnourished to the point of starvation because he was fed bread and salad there. During his first exam we found out John Hunt was in fourth stage renal disease and FeLV (+). However, a couple months later with loving care and TLC from his first foster mom MaryAnn, his renal disease was reversed and his kidney values now are within normal limits AND he is FeLV NEGATIVE!!! That’s right. He was cured!
Now John Hunt lives happily with foster mom Christine. He is very affectionate and playful. He loves to follow foster mom around the apartment and gets super excited and welcomes her home every evening.
John Hunt is neutered, FIV/FeLV (-), vaccinated, microchipped and parasite free! He is happy, healthy and ready to meet his forever human! Click here to adopt John Hunt!
