Lived in an airless basement of a deli of the South Bronx, Jellybean used to hunt scraps on the street to feed herself and her two babies. When she was rescued by Little Wanderers right before Easter 2017, she showed up starving and was covered in green Easter egg dye. Regardless of her living hardship, Jellybean is the sweetest and most friendly cat, so Little Wanderers thought she deserves a chance of indoor living.
After Jellybean arrived at her foster, she was so happy to be welcomed to a home and would not stop purring, and loved to curl up to her foster parents’ laps to take a nap. Jellybean also became good friends with the resident cat shortly after. The family just fell so much in love with Jellybean and eventually decided to officially adopt her. Now Jellybean, aka Beanie or Jello, lives happily ever after with her human parent
s and her Feline brother in their lovely home.
